What happened to CentSports?
As you may know, cash-outs had become a real issue on CentSports. Simply put, the amount of advertising was not supporting the cash-outs and operating costs. So, the owners of CentSports began looking for a solution with two goals in mind. First off, they wanted to honor all cash-outs without exception. Secondly, they wanted to let users continue to bet on sports free.
They feel they found a great solution to accomplish both goals!
CentSports.com has merged with FreeSportsBet.com, the largest website offering a service similar to CentSports. FreeSportsBet.com (FSB) is no new kid on the block. FSB has been around for three years and has processed over 5,000,000 free bets. FSB has found a good balance between revenue and cash-outs and will be here for the long-haul. FSB is a place where CentSports users can continue to play free and receive timely cash-outs.
What does it mean for you?
Your CentSports account has been converted to an account on FreeSportsBet.com and your existing CentSports balance has been carried over to your FSB account.
All CentSports owed cash-outs are being honored by CentSports. If you are due a cash-out, you can expect to receive that from CentSports between now and the end of October.
What are the benefits of this change?
Yes, CentSports is going away. But, there is good news. There's a lot to be excited about because FreeSportsBet.com offers a lot of new advantages for you, including:
- Easier to cash-out: We know cash-outs have been a sore spot on CentSports for some time. No longer! On FSB, we have the funds to process cash-outs immediately. Better yet, you won't have to wait to win a "tournament" to get your cash. On CentSports, if you reached cash-out level, you had to enter and wait and hope to win a "tournament" to get your cash-out. On FSB, there are no tournaments. Once you reach cash-out level, you get your cash right away. FSB is very proud of the fact that in three years we have never missed or delayed a cash-out and we plan on maintaining that record moving forward.
- More betting options: On FSB, we offer some new betting options that weren't available on CentSports. You can bet teasers for football and basketball. I was awaiting a cash-out on CentSports. Will I get paid?

What happened to my pending bets on CentSports?
All non-graded bets placed in CentSports were cancelled and the amount you risked put back in your balance.
What happened to my CentSports balance?
Your CentSports balance was carried over to FSB and is shown in your FSB "Bonus Balance." Balances over $100 have been capped at $100 (affects less than one-tenth of 1% of CentSports users so likely not you!). Note that bets made with Bonus Blance pay out the to-win amount only (not risk + to-win).
Will I be able to see my CentSports bet history?
CentSports bet history is not available. Your bet history on FSB will be tracked moving forward. On your My Bets page you can filter your bet history to break down how you perform with certain sports, or bet types.
I already had an FSB account. Do I get my CentSports balance?
Only one account is allowed per user. It's very important you do not play with two accounts. If yo do, you will not be eligble for any cashouts. If you had an FSB account already, that is your one account and your CentSports balance is not added to it.
What sports can I bet on at FSB?
You can bet on football (NFL and College Football), basketball (NBA, WNBA and College Basketball), baseball (MLB), hockey (NHL), soccer (all major leagues worldwide), and tennis (ATP, WTA). You can also play FSB Poker (more on that below). FSB does not currently offer MMA, Boxing, Rugby or NASCAR although we may add more sports in the future.
What are FSB contests?
In addition to betting on events as you used to on CentSports, at FSB you can also participate in contests. In these contests, you don't risk your Balance. Instead, you are competing against others to see who can achieve the contest goal (most wins, most units won, five in a row, etc). Contests are 100% free for Full Access members. Limited Access members can enter contests by using Bonus Cash or mailing in entry cards. Playing in contests is fun and a good way to grow your balance more quickly. We award over $1,000 per month in contest Bonus Cash payouts and you can even play for $25,000 USD in our 25-in-a-row Streak Contest.
What is my Bonus Balance and how does it differ from my Primary Balance?
In CentSports you had one balance. In FSB you have two: Primary and Bonus. Primary Balance is money you use to place bets, and to cash-out. Bonus Cash can be used to place bets or enter contests. Winnings from all bets go into your Primary Balance. Bonus Cash is earned in several ways including using the Ca$h Accelerator or by winning contests (and you'll see that is where we put your CentSports transferred balance). Bonus Cash cannot be used to cash-out. It must first be converted into Primary Balance (done by placing bets with it). Once your Primary balance reaches cash-out level, you can cash-out.
How do cash-outs work on FSB?
It's easier and quicker to cash out on FSB than it was on CentSports. We know cash-outs were a sore spot on CentSports for some time. That's not an issue here on FSB as we have the cash to pay all cash-outs immediately.
On CentSports, once you reached cash-out level, you had to enter a tournament to compete against other members for limited cash-out funds. On FSB, we don't have the tournament hurdle. Once you reach cash-out level on FSB, you can immediately request a cash-out. We have never delayed or missed a cash-out in our entire 3-year history. We've processed hundreds of cash-outs for tens of thousands of dollars. As long as you abide by our terms and conditions (of course you will!), you can expect a quick cash-out once you reach the cash-out threshold. We also offer a way for you to cash-out when you reach $100 (a sportsbook cash-out).
On FSB, everything is 10 times bigger! You start with $1.00 instead of $0.10. Accordingly, the cash-out hurdle on FSB is $200 instead of $20. For more details on cash-outs, see our Rules.
How can I get more cash to play with?
There are lots of ways to increase your balance on FSB. You obviously can win bets. But in addition to that, you earn cash just by playing here every day ($0.10 per day for your first bet each day). You earn by posting in the forum. You can earn by watching videos or completing offers in our Ca$h Accelerator. You can earn more by becoming a Full Access member. What is the Ca$h Accelerator?
The Ca$h Accelerator is a way for you to earn more FSB cash by completing offers from merchants. Some of the offers are completely free (like filling out a survey) while others allow you to earn FSB cash when you purchase products or services for things you are already interested in. I used the forum on CentSports. Is there a forum on FSB?
Yes, we have an active forum here. You can earn $0.02 for your first post each day. You can use the forum to ask questions of other members and site moderators and share and read opinions on sports and sports betting. In addtion, we have a live chat feature which is very active and popular.
What happened to my CentSports friends and cronies?
We were unable to migrate any CentSports friend or crony data over to FSB in time for the deadline (football season starting). We are looking into how we can do this and will let you know once we have determined a plan for this. We will have a plan in place by the end of September. Do you guys have a crony (friend referral) system? How does it work?
Yes, we have a Refer-a-Friend program (we don't call them cronies, we call them friends). As a community here at FSB, the more members we have, the more successful we all are (more members = more advertising revenue = more payouts to members!). We grow only by word of mouth. If you like the site, tell your friends to join as well. If you do, you'll earn FSB Cash every day based on how much your friends use the site. You earn this forever - every day they use the site.
The more your friends use the site, the more you earn. Every day we look at how much your friends used the site and we award you Bonus Cash based on their use. There is no limit to what you can earn. The referral bonus is deposited daily in your Bonus balance. You can then use that to bet with. Good news: It doesn't matter if your friends win or lose with their picks! If they use the site, they generate advertising revenue (which we share with you). The more they use it, the more they generate and the more you make!
